Our aims The current edition How to join the KVCA
Kirkstall, formerly a historic village, is now a thriving suburb of Leeds. It is quite unique in possessing a 12th century Cistercian monastery, in a picturesque riverside setting. Leeds is situated in West Yorkshire in the North of England.
Kirkstall Matters was started in 1978. It is produced three times a year and over a thousand copies are printed. The content has always been good, but now presentation and production are increasingly of a professional standard.
Kirkstall Matters has a cover price of £1. It is on sale at retail outlets in and around the area. The magazine is also delivered free to members of the KVCA, in the Kirkstall area. Membership of this community group is only £4.00 for the year. For postal members in the UK we ask an additional £3 towards postage costs.
As an offshoot of the KVCA, a registered charity, we too are non-profit making. We are constantly drawing attention to many local issues and our articles and comments frequently result in further coverage from local television, radio and commercial newspapers.
We welcome articles, photographs, illustrations, letters and poems from our readers.
If you have a business which is Kirkstall based or serves the Kirkstall area............. Why not advertise with us?
